Ursus Custom Homes of Revelstoke, BC is a recipient of the Canadian Home Builders Association Central Interior (CHBACI) Keystone Award for 2010. Ursus was delivered the Silver level honour for its product 'The Columbian' at Revelstoke Mountain Resort and is a Gold medal finalist for the CHBA's annual celebration of home builders, designers and industry members.

Among 22 categories for awards, Ursus Custom Homes is a finalist for the gold medal selection in the Best Single Detached Home valued at $750,000 to $4,000,000.

"Each finalist has had to meet or exceed a high standard of excellence in order to be deemed worthy of an award," said Patsy Bourassa, CHBA Central Interior Executive Officer. "Finalists receive a SILVER level certificate which is an honour in itself. Each Silver finalist is now in the running for the GOLD award."

The winners of the residential construction industries annual event will be announced at a gala on September 25th, 2010 at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops.

Revelstoke Mountain Resort, the $1 billion ski-and-golf vacation community located 250 miles west  of Calgary and less than 400 miles northeast of Vancouver, completed its first custom single-family home in April.
